Africaans after operating 920 via TomTom Home?

Strange problem...whenever I 'operate' my 920 via TomTom Home (like when I send a location to it via Google Maps), the voice switches to Afrikaans! I'm sure that if I lived in South Africa, this would be just fine, but I'm in Texas, and we don't speak that around here

I use Susan, the English Computer Voice as my 'normal' voice, but if I try to select her from the voices (again while operating my 920 through TomTom Home), she's not even on the list!

If I set my 920 to use a recorded English voice, it will stay with that voice.

So, the question is...why doesn't TomTom Home recognize TomTom's own Computer voice(s)? Surely someone at TomTom must have seen this happening

It's a well-documented problem here on the forums. ...and no, TomTom doesn't thoroughly (or even briefly) test their products before they release them, sorry.
