Adjusting route

I have TomTom go discover. I found a way to adjust the route to work with some exceptions. I live in NH and therefore taking more travelled/better roads is a must in winter. Fast setting sent me almost entirely by secondary roads. Sort took me to major roads but still took me on secondary roads longer. Is there a way to drag the roads that are not what I want to ones that I do. Or is there a way to edit the turn by turn directions?

There's no way to manually 'tweak' a route on a Discover device apart from adding intermediate waypoints that force the route to pass through certain locations. You can modify route type and request alternates, but if you have something specific in mind, plan it using the online TomTom route planner and send the route to your device.
