Does anyone know how to remove the adhesive dash mount disc? i have one in my wife's car and it is in the wrong place (of course )?

Some suggest using a home hair dryer on the unit to soften the glue. I've seen others suggest you use a strip of dental floss around the plate to try to 'saw' the glue off.

+1 on the hairdryer and floss. It'll keep you from peeling up part of your dash covering.

Keep in mind that this is likely to tear up the adhesive, so you might not be able to use the disk again.

After you remove the disk, If you want to get residue off, use the hair dryer and Goop-Off (or Goof-off), or similar product that gets off stickers, glue, and other junk. Try peeling the glue away with a paper towel soaked in the goop-off.
