Are you trying to add a "favorite" to your unit, or are you trying to add a POI to an existing category on your own unit, or does this business not fit into an existing category and you need a new category, or are you hoping to get your (or somebody's) business in TomTom's distributed POI list, or ??? Can you be more specific?

Got it.

Go to

Right arrow to
"Map corrections"
"Correct a map error"
Right arrow (probably) to next page
select "Add missing POI"
select "Restaurant" category
select "By name"
enter/select the appropriate city
enter the street name
enter address number
You'll see the location on the map to verify
select "Done"
enter the name of the restaurant
select "OK"
enter a phone number if you want, or leave blank
select "OK"

finish up
