add current location as favorite?

If my current location does not have a known address, how do I add it as a favorite?

I did add favorite>my location, named it and saved it. When I choose it as a navigate to>favorite and select it, I get no route found. Did I leave out a step, or is there a better way?

If your current location is not on a specific routable road, then it can be saved as a favourite because it is stored using the lat/long of the location.

But since the TomTom is a road gps, it won't be able to plan a route to the off road location. The best it can do is navigate you to the closest point on a road, if you show the favourite there.
