920T import contacts & data services problems with Treo 750v

I briefly had a 720T and managed to get contacts from my phone ok. The unit was returned as faulty for other reasons so I bought a 920T instead. The 920T says the import contacts feature is not supported - surely this is not right? Is the unit faulty?
Also, I cannot get data services working at all with the Treo 750v (Vodafone UK non contract) - anybody managed to get this combination working (or even a 720T)?
