8 gig sd card

I bought an 8 gig SD card for my tomtom one so I could have all my maps on one card. The problem is I cant get the TT 1 to recognize the card. Is there a limitation in what size card you can use?

The TT one can only handle non-SDHC cards.
I suppose you are using a SDHC card since you have a 8Gb card.

If you get a 4Gig SD card (not SDHC) then you are happy, else you can use a 2Gig card.
