730 won't link to computer???

    For some reason, my 730 won't link to the computer...

    Before I would just set it on the dock and turn it on, then a screen would pop up and ask if I would like to link it. NOW I set it on the dock and turn it on and it just shows the start up screen and then goes into navigation mode (no computer link screen)...

    I do have a good connection (the power light turns on) and I tried different usb ports on the computer. The computer says that the USB device has unsupported driver. So I tried to reinstall the boot disk but after it loads it ask me to connect my TOMTOM and I am back on the same place I started...

    The last time I had it on the dock I loaded up a bunch of songs, etc... Could I have moved something that I shouldn't have on the unit itself???

    If you look back a couple of days a go i posted the same problem.

    The answer i got was to press in the reset button underneath the unit,
    Power off the unit first.
    Press in the reset for 15seconds.
    Power on the unit and hold down the power on button for 5 seconds.
    The unit will power up with the TOmTOm logo screen.

    The usb connection will now work ( I HOPE)

    Well it worked for me as i had the same problem

    That worked, it seems like something is still a little quirky with it, but at least I have it linked to my computer again...
