What is the difference between the 2 updates? Which one is better and offer things that the other does not?

I thought the four times update was slightly cheaper than the single map update, also the 4x option gives you four new maps over a 12 month period so its the better option all counts as far as I can see - Mike

By far the 4 times a year update service is cheaper and far better for navigation

Just done updating it. Everything went smooth and the whole process took me 2 hours (download and install).

    Thanks for everyone.
