3d maps?

Hi there,

This might be a silly question but forgive me...

I have a SONY XNV-660BT installed in my car. It's in the dash and a TomTom unit.

Are there any maps or software updates that contain 3d buildings and features like you see on other units?

I doubt it... TomTom experimented with some 3D information on the maps of their hardware units a couple of years ago. But they seem to have decided not to bother, as the last few versions of maps don't have it anymore

I wonder if these units even show the building outlines in the maps? TomTom has been adding new territory for these pretty consistently over recent years, but I don't know what level of code will display them, nor exactly which map version they began with here in the U.S. AFAIK, this unit has never had a firmware update available.
