2 problems with my xxl

Prob.1. Hasn't recognised GPS for 2 days now.

Prob.2. System keeps turning itself 'off' & 'on' every 30 seconds or so.

I need my sat nav for France on Sunday...HELP!!

What hasn't recognized the gps? Your computer?

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds unless your model has a dedicated reset hole.

The xxl works fine on my computer screen but still can't receive a GPS signal and still keeps closing down & opening up by itself. Drum roll works after depressing the button for 20 seconds. Still no joy! Thank you for your response!

If you connect to Home, is it possible to select Update my Device?

Yes...That works fine when connected to my laptop. Incidently, The 2 problems occurred soon after I 'updated' last saturday.
