If I am understanding you correctly you say the green light is on when it is in the charging cradle . If this is so I would suggest you leave it the the cradle overnight and see what it does the next day. One more thing are you charging via USB port? and does your USB port still have power...

Perhaps it might be a good idea to do a Format of you unit AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A GOOD BACK UP COPY. When you have some free time. I have done this in the past and it cleared up a lot of issues ( Just make sure you use a backup copy that was working well )

YW ,,, some people seem to have had trouble with TT support but I have had good service for the most part. I have an older Go-920 and other than needing to replace the battery it does a very good job.

You might be able to pick up an older refurbished GO serries like a 720 or 920. A lot of these refurbished units are just like new and you should be able to get one for $100 - $150

To do an explorer restore just do a copy past of your backup file. That should fix your problem with the looping.
