What kind of fool drives around with 3 GPSs?
Not the greatest pic, but:
The big GPS is my built in Honda/Alpine 2005 Nav. I used to love that system - voice control, full integration with the car, remembers driven speeds for future routing, itinerary optimization, on-and-on. But no IQroutes and no realtime traffic.
The mid-sized one at the top is my Tomtom 720. I love IQroutes, PLUS traffic (LIVE would be better), and map self-editing. I ignore the Honda nav because of it. I still miss the Accord's bigger screensize and miss how I didn't have to take the Tomtom out of the car each stop to prevent theft.
I think the is the best mounting spot for a Tomtom. The roof of the car acts as a sunshade, and it is a very safe spot - the Tomtom is close to the road but never blocking anything.
The tiny one is the N97. My wife's new toy, I was taking it out to test Ovi maps with turn-by-turn directions.

One good thing about the N97(I too own one) is that it call tell which direction you are pointing, so if you turn the phone 180 degree clockwise, the map will turn too
Maybe tomtom should add it too

It's called an electronic compass. The general feeling among manufacturers is that while almost a necessity in handheld units, it's not really needed in a car GPS unit since you are generally moving.

One of my favourite pictures from running multiple devices in the same car:
Look at the directional information being offered which highlights the strange routing offered when using different map versions! - Perhaps I should fit all the kit to the car and get a wide angle lens for the camera as its difficult to get a picture with the Ovlov V70 loaded up with GPS kit! - Mike
Left to right is the 720, One Third Edition, One XL (Classic) and the 910 (RIP)

Since 2 show a left turn and 2 show a right turn, what do you do, Mike? Flip a coin?

The two left turns look like they are the new maps, since they include the current road's number and a road name. The leftmost is the 720 with IQroutes.
And it appears IQrotues is correct - Mike is in the left turn lane in the picture.

8th of September 2007 was the date the picture was taken, as for turning left or right I was parked up behind another parked car! - Mike

Wow - how many ways can I can be wrong on a guess:
- 9/8/2007 is before IQroutes was released
- and that wasn't a backup waiting for a left
