In-laws are in town and I was going to upgrade their One XL. It's showing at Version 8.010. Is this the latest version available for the One XL?

You are correct, that is the latest version available for the One XL (to the best of my knowledge).

The only updates for the OneXL are the maps if you have the update quartely subscription, the latest for the OneXL is v840.2561 that just came out late last month....
