And just that quickly I've been advised they do not. That may be a good thing.

Any AV input jack to hold out hope for some backup cam integration in the future on this platform?

Tomtom posted the XXL on their site. It appears to support PLUS services too.

Get a used HTC 7500 or 7510 for your mobile phone and put TomTom Navigator 7 on it, the device has a 5" screen, built in GPS and can receive Traffic OTA using the GPRS connection, its a bit of a strange beast to use as a phone though! - Mike

maxe is in the US. Navigator 7 isn't available for us Americans (Tomtom won't sell US maps for them).

maxe - I don't think the Tomtom holiday lineup for North America is fully announced yet. I've seen numerous rumors of another GO model being announced, as well as upgrades to the iPhone app and possibly an Android app.

Tomtom has called the press for a presentation on 9/22, I suspect something will be announced then. If not, my guess is the beginning of the 4th quarter (Oct 1).

I just received a marketing email from TomTom, announcing the new XXL. Did you know they're introducing two new features? I didn't either but according to a quote from the email, "Introducing two new TomTom features you don't want to miss: IQ Routes Technology provides the best real-time route based on proven traffic patterns" and "Advanced Lane Guidance brings you photorealistic images so you'll never miss an exit again!"
