I dont know if anyone can or will help me here.I triedlogging in to tomtom home.Amessage appeared on my screen saying there is a newer homeversion out and would i like to download it now.I replied yes,and with that it uninstalled the older version and starts to download the newer version ( tomtom 2.7.2 ).Heres where the trouble begins. It keeps coming up with a prob downloading the newer version. So now i have no TomTom home. Thanks Mick |
What kinds of problems are you getting trying to download the newer Home version?
Are you using a wireless connection? What kind of computer? PC and if so, XP or Vista or are you using a Mac? Also, I edited your post to remove your email address. Not a good idea to post it. |
Whenever HOME offers a new version I go to TomTom's web page and download it from there to a folder on my hard disk.
I then allow the upgrade through HOME itself. If something goes wrong I can abort and try to install off line. Fringe benefit of down loading is that should the newer version create problems I can revert to the older, previously downloaded one. |
