Wisconsin River

Has anyone ever used a TT on the Wisconsin River to mark fishing spots and such. I know it's for the street but is there a way you can set it to be for the water as well?

You can mark any spot you wish, (even on a river) in the tomtom. problem is it won't take you back there if the spot marked is not on a road. Even marking the middle of a parking lot or halfway down your long driveway will result in "no route found" when you try to go back.

sure would be nice if it was a function we could use.

There's a third-party app called, OffRoad Navigator, linked here on Birdman's site. I haven't installed this one, but it may do what you're describing.

Can you switch back and forth between the off road navigator and the normal driving version?

Sure, you can open or close off road navigator, just like you can open and close applications on a computer.
