Hi!
Can someone please tell what this is?

Its up on my dashboard in my "new" car. I'm thinking maybe a mounting plate for a gps unit or something. If it is, what models will fit?

Did your new car came with a factory installed GPS?

I don't think it came with a factory gps, it's a 2002 seat leon cupra r.
Can't seem to find anything on the web that looks like this plate, only found some round tomtom discs

Looks like its this, somekind of magnetic mount. Still don't know what models will fit though

I just got feedback from a contact at TomTom in Amsterdam:

It is a metal plate that you would glue to your dashboard in order to attach an external GPS Antenna to it.

That's right, my external antenna has a magnetic base plate...... Only really use it with the One XL, which has the hammerhead chipset.
