TT Home 2 Back up?

Hi, Having recently updated the map on my Go 700, I connected to TT Home 2 version 3.98.8.3568.
Did a "full backup" of my device to my computer, prior to adding new P.O.I.s.
Afterwards, checked my computer using TT Home for the "full back up" I had just installed, which stated "no backup available" !!!!
Although when I use "Explorer" the back up is seen to be present on my computer.
Anyone have any suggestions / ideas how to resolve?

When I started with TomTom in April 2008 I read plenty of dire warnings in this list and others not to use Home to back up.

Never ever used HOME to make a back up.
Always used Windows Explorer.
