Tried to change a battery on a 510

Bought a new battery on e-bay to get a 510 back to working properly. You have to take the entire unit apart to get at the battery. Spent two hours trying to get the ribbon connectors back in and finally broke one of the two plastic clamps. Would have been better off by not even trying. Unit wasn't worth much with a dead battery and is now worthless.

I don't understand how Tomtom could design this so poorly. Since the battery is going to fail someday, the people designing it must consider this and did not.
