Traffic icon on map display

I have a small square icon that activates a pitch to sign up for RDS-TMC traffic. How do I remove this icon from my display?
I have a TT 540XXL S. (brand new user)

Is it on the middle of the left of the screen?

If so, then it's the quickmenu. Go to preferences -> quickmenu preferences, and uncheck anything referring to traffic.
