Tom Tom - Slow after update - Move to SD card? IPhone traffic?

Hi,

I have connected my 720 go today after about 8 months of no update and I updated to the latest version 8.300 and the tomtom device is slow to respond to touch. I don't have voices on so the stuttering I have read about doesn't bother me.

If I add to the device a SD card, such as sandisk and move the data to it? how do I go about this, through the tomtom home program? I noticed there is only 17MB of RAM available so if I move everything across will it free it up?

Secondly what is the max size I should buy, can I go for a 4GB and have no problems with it?

Third question I used to have tomtom traffic with my old phone before I had the iphone and I was disappointed that I can't get traffic anymore with the iphone. Is there any plans for this soon? Is it iphones data acceptance problem or tomtom?

Just use Windows Explorer to copy over what you want.

You always could use a 4 gig sdhc card with your unit prior to firmware 8.3. With that version, there is support for cards larger, such as 8 or 16 gig.
