Tom Tom freezing after latest update

Just updated my euro and speed camera software and now can enter a destination. Seems to be stuck in wrong country but device tells me to wait, then switches off and back on. Any suggestions before I get lost would be appreciated. Cheers

Need to start with a model, please.

Then let's work on these:
"my euro and speed camera software" = mapshare update for western Europe map, and speed camera update?
"and now can enter a destination" = and now cannot enter a destination?

Before attempting to enter an address, what country is showing as the current 'target'?
