Problems formatting Sandisk SDHC 32Gb memory card in 6100

I have now tried 2 different SDHC branded 32Gb sdhc cards in the 6100 - sometimes the device will offer to format the disk but then says it can't but more often it doesn't even recognise that it is present. Help!

I have heard that some 32 gb cards are problematic. If you have a card reader, try a Windows format of one as fat32 and then try the device format again.

As per dhn, TomTom reformats a FAT32 card but not an NTFS one.

I've only had my GO 6100 for a day but I can report that having first made sure the firmware was updated I inserted a 32GB SanDisk Ultra microSDHC UHS-1 card and it formatted quickly and with no issues.
