Power button consistently needs to be held down for LONG TIME to power unit

Does anyone else have to hold down the power button on their Tom Tom for a LONG LONG time?

And then you start ?pushing it repeatedly to get it to come on. Is this just me and my unit.

Tried resets, reloading firmware, etc...

Yeah, that started with update 7.221, you are not alone like this..

It's annoying

I was going to ask a question about this too.

It seems like TomTom was trying to prevent accdental startups but went a little overboard as they have been known to do from time to time.

Yup, I noticed this too with one of the recent firmware updates. Pretty annoying but, oh well. Hopefully it will be fixed sometime.

Confirmed, this is fixed with 8.010.
