Hi there I am new to this forum just looking for the impossible I think My ex girlfriend has set a password to my tomtom xxl iq as a leaving gift do I have to throw it away and buy another one or is they a way around this I have tried resetting it and also tried working round it on tomtom home any ideas?

You could call CS (0845 161 0009) and arrange to ship the unit back to TT where they will disable the password but they WILL charge you for it.

Or, you can start entering possibilities from 0-0-0-0 through 9-9-9-9 till you hit the proper one.

For obvious reasons, how to disable a password is NOT information available in public forums.

Thanks for that I thought it wouldn't be an easy fix for obvious reasons.
