One GPS used with TomTom Home on two computers?

I have a One 140S. I have a destop P/C in an upstairs office, and a laptop in my family room. I did not understand how TomTom Home worked at first, but now that I see it writes and stores files to my C drive, I am wondering if it is a bad practice to try to use more than one P/C with a single TomTom unit. If I do am I asking for trouble?

If your two PCs are networked you can be just fine. If not, buy a wireless router and network them. Share the folder that TomTom Home writes into on your desktop and map that folder to a drive letter on your laptop. Setup Home on your laptop to write to that drive letter. This assumes that your desktop is always on.

Tomtom stores a copy of downloads (applications, maps, etc) for quick re-installation.

I don't think it stores files needed for normal operation, so you should be fine on either computer.
