No maps found.

I have done a search on this and cam up with nothing. My TomTom Go720 works fins stand alone, but when it's connected to my MacBook and I try to operate it via TomTom Home I get the message 'No maps found'. It will get the map updates and I can add or change voices but it does not recognise any maps. I have tried it on both the internal memory and the SD card.

I have a 32 gig SD card fitted and the Western Europe maps are on that.

When look at the TomTom support pages it tells me to redownload the failing map. I purchased the new version just a few days back, spending hours on my 1 meg max ADSL line, so I believe that I have done a redownload?

Any ideas please folks?

A senior moment there folks. It is an 8 gig SD card, not 32 gig.

Thank you for the link, but as I said I downloaded an updated map just a few days back and it made no difference.

This may sound like a stupid question as you can see something in Home.
Doyou have the latest version of Home for your Mac?

I have no idea if it's the latest, but I have 2.9.8.2476 at the moment. I have tried to see if it is the latest, but haven't found out how to check?

Open Home. Check the menu options at the top left. Click Help-->Check for Home Update.

Ta for that DHN. I hadn't thought of even looking there. It is in the 'TomTom Home' (or what ever progremme) lable, top left..

It tells me that I am up to date.
