Whew! I recovered. What i was doing I was downloading the latest update of maps and when it finished and I clicked on OK and then tried to restart the gps and it said no maps found in red letters, And I was able to do a delete and magically it was able to repair or update it. Then I click on repair and it did an update and all's well with it now. Thanks for responding.
