My new Start 25 is taking ages to find satelites

This is the first time I've been out of the house with it and after 30 mins has only found two. Is my unit faulty?
Another 30 mins and it's locked onto 3 satelites and can see 8.
It's far, far slower than my previous tomtom.

Hold your power button down for about 20 seconds till you hear a drum roll. See if that helps.
