How to import .ov2 file

I had one Via 1535 that stopped being able to connect to my computer and I decided to buy a new one. My question now is, I had saved my Favorites in the old machine to a .ov2 file and I wanted to import them into the new device, which is also a Via 1535, but I seem unable to find how to do it or to encounter any information about the task in the User Guide or even after searching the web.
Can anyone please explain what exactly to I need to do in order to bring those Favorites to my new device?

Could be tricky, dhn. Transfer Assistant assumes prior device is available for pulling the *.ov2 file. It's work flow is

• grab data from old unit
• temporarily store data on HD
• move data to new unit

I do not know if it can be fooled into starting at Step 2 from a pre-existing *.ov2 file.

This process needs to be performed, instead, using MyDrive Connect.

• Use MyPlaces (bubble with person inside) icon on left side of screen
• Select "POI FILES" tab
• Select "IMPORT POI FILE"
• Select "Select File"
• Point it to your *.ov2 of favorites
• Select "Import"
