How do I use it?

i bought my TomTom a year or two ago, but I've never used it; however, I now need to know how. I'm about to reach Union Station in Los Angeles. I need to know how to set that as my point of origin and another location as my destination.Is there a set of instructions somewhere that will show me how to do this?
