How do I restore Favorites after installing a new map

Hello,

I'm getting ready to purchase an updated map for my 920T. Once I do this, I've heard that my favorites and other settings are lost. What will I need to do to restore these?

Take a copy of the MapSettings.cfg file from a back up (specific map folder) and copy it to the new map file folder.

this method didn't work when going from North America map 815 to map 825.

this caused my 930 to reboot over and over.
