How do I Manage recent destinations,

I need to delete some recent destinations,can anyone show me how ?

It`s a caravan model, no ST 63693 GO 1667

If it is like other models......

Drive to---> Recent Destination. When the list appears, you can select the 'delete' BUT then ALL recent destinations disappear.

If you ADD FAVOURITE from RECENT DESTINATION and select the destination you want to convert to a Favourite, then ultimately all recent destinations can be deleted.

Just a wild guess, but I wonder if all of those numbers the OP is providing are pointing to a caravan version of the GO 1005.

Okay ,I have done that , now can I delete individual ones from" FAVOURITES " as well ?

BTW I also have a route which is clearly wrong and takes me on a 10mile diversion from a one mile dual carriageway !!! can I do anything about that .

My problem is that I will be lending this GPS to family when they come out to visit me , and obviously I don`t want them to be driving all round the country needlessly

Yes, you can delete individual favorites.

Settings / a few right arrows / Favorites / select one / Delete (red trash can)

Regarding deleting recent destinations ,I am assuming that the designers expect everything worth while to be transferred to "favourites "and the "recent destinations " box kept clear and deleted.

It once took me 4 hours to install a new ( Morocco ) map , faithfully following all the instructions , finally I found a contact phone number and was sorted in about 10 seconds. I couldn`t help asking the helpline girl why this info wasn`t included in the instructions, she didn`t know.

They assume every customer has a high level of tech understanding --fail !

On the whole, you have the right idea. Things you REALLY want to keep for posterity would go into Favorites. Recent destinations is handy for day to day locations that you won't likely be using regularly again.

What was the malfunction when trying to install the map?
