GO 940 LIVE start up fault

Sorry if this is a repeat question but I have struggled on with a main dealer sat nav for long enough, only to fail to start up my TomTom Go 940 Live. It seems to freeze on the start up page with a orange light stuck on the on\off button. Its not wanting to link it to my computer either?? Also held the reset button 15 secs, this turned it off but just came back to the same start up page again.

Would be great if I could get some help with this.

Is the battery fully charged on the device?

Some how its started to work? I linked to the to rom website and it started to update and it seems fine. Thanks anyway.
