GO 700 reverse route option.

Hi all, hopefully someone will have an answer to this question. I recently followed a complicated route to a destination app 50mls away with no problems (well done Jane) But for the return I tapped the "Home" icon which took me a totally different route, which included going through a city centre at app 5pm. Disaster, the journey home was a nightmare. When I tap "Home" I simply follow the route that Jane comes up with, now the question. Is there an option for a reverse route to be selected? I've never come across this, but just possibly........

What you need is to create an itinerary to a destination --- the more the waypoints, the less likely the tomtom will deviate from your desired route.

Similarly, the unit will plan a trip 'Home' using what it sees as the fastest route at the time of departure. That's why it took you a different way than you hoped. Once a route is established, I think you can view the route as printed instructions and use alternate roads if you desire.
