GO 6000
Hi Just bought a GO 6000 but the only way I can charge it is from the mains supply.

Should it charge from the incar lead and is there a battery charge indicator on the device. I can see when it is charging but don't know when it is full or how much charge it is holding.

Would be grateful for any help.

Yes, it should charge from the car's CLA. Some cigarette lighters are not powered when the ignition is off.
No, there is no indicator, per se.
If you need to know, but don't do this while driving, hold down the power button, well past the drum roll and TomTom script. Let go when you see very small, white text on black background.
About 3/4 down you see something like Battery Level with a percentage and in brackets next to it an up to 4 digit milli-volt reading (it will constantly count down).

If you want to test that, charge the battery over night. The, the next day have the car running, put your 6000 in the cradle and then do the above.
Let us know the percentage and if there is a count down or if the number remains steady.
