I have TomTom 1.6 on my iPhone4 as well as Navigon 1.7. Both are North American maps. I live in Toronto area and tested both extensively and would like TomTom to step it up a bit. Here are some features I think they should add, what would you like to see?
1. Dictation as method of address input
2. 3D topography such as valleys and hills (not 3D building etc, those look corny in my opinion
3. Traffic in Canada !!!!
4. Voices for purchase in the TomTom Shop section
5. Nicer and branded POI icons (Navigon wins big here)
6. Weather updates (good for long drives)
7. Advanced Planning needs to be beefed up for multiple stops
8. layered POI management (ala Navigon again)
9. ability to turn on LED in app for walking navigation
10. just make the maps look smoother, no excuse for jaggy lines, many other competitors win in this department
11. Facebook sharing, not important but a feature add
