Do you keep your tomtom charged up in a hotel room, or do you let it go until your on the road again? Will it last 2 days without being charged? How does it lose charge when it isn't even turned on?

When it isn't on, it isn't really off! It's in hibernate mode and, as such, is still drawing some power.

A pin reset while the unit is 'off' does shut down the unit.
