Changing TomTom built-in POI icons?

Hi there,

Wonder if anyone else notices this. Sometimes, I try to add a new POI with a new icon but it doesn't "take" and can't be found in the list. Has anyone else noticed this and knows of a work-around? For example, I created a "Restuanrat" POI with poieditor.com and created a POI icon and installed them both but they couldn't be found in the list when the module was in my car. I noticed that there is a built-in POI for called "Restaurant" could this be the reason?

One more question, is it possible to change the black & white built in POI icon to another one? If so, how do you do this?

NB: Sorry, the "Restuanrat" is spelled incorrectly and should read "Restaurant".

I do believe the same name for both the built in and the custom one is the cause of the problem. You could try "_restaurants". The _ at the beginning will cause the category to float to the top of the list.

Thanks for the help. I tried renaming it 3x but it still won't show up. Really strange.
