TomTom Home has told me that not enough memory on SD card (4GB) for map update . I have full Europe on card on checking files on device looks like a old map of Europe is on that. Can maps be split between device and card as they can on my Zumo...I have GB & I on device and rest od Europe on card...If this possible how is done ...with Garmin Base Camp
is used to do this.

If you click 'continue' when the warning appears, you should be offered a zoned map.

To answer the original question, no. Any particular map must fit either in internal memory or on the SD card. You may want to invest in a larger card now so you don't have to muck about with zoned maps. The maps just keep growing as they add more parking lot geometry, speed limits, and other things.
