Hi.
I understand the batteries on sat navs. do not last forever, as boy scouts say always be prepared

Help please how do I change the batteries on the via 135, and where do you purchase them from, I have lifetime updates on the package, so I would think the sat nav. will last a lifetime.

I haven't taken mine apart as yet. There have been a number of variations on disassembly for models of that era. If you pull the ball out of the rear of the case (you won't break anything, and it does take a twist and a tug) you will find one very tiny (T5) Torx head screw there. That's a clear beginning to separating the two halves of the case. Be sure to remove any uSD card you may have installed before you begin as it may interfere with case separation.

My favorite source doesn't ship to the U.K., but if you do a google search for P11P17-14-S01 you will no doubt find them locally.
