AVN2210P won't boot up

I bought a mercedes with a AVN2210P loaded. Nice unit, but the tom tom keeps rebooting itself over and over again..I never get to a functional gps screen or any screen that you can manipulate. yes i pushed reset 50 times. any ideas?

I don't know much about the AVN2210P.
But from a quick look at the manual, I see it has a removable SD card and a USB connection like normal TomToms.

So either connect it to your PC via the USB socket or remove the SD card and put it in a card reader attached to the PC.

Then make a backup, by copying EVERYTHINGfrom the card into a new folder somewhere safe on your PC.

Then delete the LOOSE files from the card i.e. the ones which are not in a folder. (do not delete any folders or their contents).

Then run TomTom Home, and it should offer to re-install the latest software.

Hopefully that will sort it.
