New USA map Advice Please..

Hello All I am new to the forum and looking for some advice with regard to a new sd map of USA and Canada which I have just purchased from Tomtom for my 520t..
Could you tell me can I put the sd card into my sat nav and select it even though I am in the UK at present to see what is included in the card such as POI's etc. and which ones!!
Any advice gratefully received..

Welcome to TTF.

Manage Maps-->Switch Maps and USA_Canada should be listed. Select it.

You can't use the Navigate Function while in the UK but you can use the Advanced Planning (Point A to B), Add Favourites
