The US & UK web map store is down - usually means a new map is days away.

It's rare that the American map store is down

Canadian is a different story.

Also, their products site is down too. Maybe the iPhone?

I mentioned that in the iPhone thread - I'm guessing that's a GO x50-type announcement. The iPhone app doesn't seem big enough for "future of navigation", and the date seems too late.

Well the map store is back, with the same old maps - so maybe this was a false alarm.

That's at least twice in the past 30 days that the map store has been down, leading us to believe something might be in the works. Just trying to get our hopes up

The web download link for HOME software now points to HOME 2.7. (of course I wouldn't have known to look before the outage)

Their website would have some really poor architecture if it had to be shut down to change the HOME link.
