Does the 920 have auto power on?

I have looked through the menus and the user's manual, but can't find a way to set the 920 to power on when it detects external power. I did find the way to cause it turn off when external power disappears.

Unfortunately, the auto power-on function was removed from firmware well over a year ago. Who knows why?
