Mounting Go730?

Please give me some ideas for mounting a 730 in my van. The windshield is fairly far away and would make it difficult to use. There is a little disk with I guess double back tape but this seems pretty extreme since it will be a permanent part of my 10 year old van. Are there any good 3rd party products??

Like you I could not find a mount that I liked so I made my own. 1st I cut the base off of the windshield mount. Then I shortened the cord of an old cell phone charger and used two small screws to fasten the mount to the plug portion of the charger. I just wanted someting so I didn't have wires everywhere. I also use the 720 for my iPod so thats what the other wires are for.
