Hi - I have a TomTom One and today I was replacing the memory chip and it won't let it stay in. The device works fine if I physically hold the chip in. Jackie

The SD card retainer will have broken its not unheard of to be honest, if you can live with some tape over the slot to hold the card in place I would do that as its a cheaper option than a repeair unless the device is still under warranty which I doubt due to when they stopped making One devices with SD card slots - Mike

I've seen this happen in camera's quite often. I've used a piece of folded paper next too the SD card to apply friction so it doesnt come out. Its a little bit prettier then tape, but take care in not cramming butt loads of paper in there as it could make removing the card again difficult...
